I write about how women feel men- the subtle dynamics, the silent impact, the moments that shape safety, desire and connection. My work guides men into deeper presence, integrity and grounded masculine leadership.
Women are not attracted to the model/gym dude with the most shredded physique and the smoothest skin- they are attracted, very attracted, to the man at the dinner table who looks at them as if they were the only person in the entire room, a rare treasure.
You can be both of course, but if you focus solely on looking fabulous, you are probably completely missing out on your potential.
When I say “every man can be a great man”- that´s something many men cannot grab. They ask me: what about small men? What about ugly men?
I think, we generally undermine the power of inner calibration- big time. We are fed the idea of outside achievements, which makes sense in the world we live in. We all know the moment though, where we get to know someone, and even if they are not a classic beauty, we find them beautiful over time. This has to do with familiarity, this also has to do with us seeing beyond surface level- we feel something with them.
Now, I am not a fan of “it´s only about what´s on the inside” because this often appears to be born out of laziness and not self respect- my conviction is though, that someone who is fully in his or her power, cannot be not attractive.
It is helpful to see what these outside attributes stand for: height is protection and strength, good looks are a magnet, a sculpted body communicates vitality, beautiful skin communicates health.
All these things can also be not the thing they are associated with: tall men can be weak and insecure, very good looking men can be vain and deeply insecure (they often are- not magnetic at all if you ask me), a sculpted body can be stiff, sick and blocked, beautiful skin can come from harsh chemicals and treatments while the body suffers underneath.
If a man goes after the things these outside things communicate, he will inevitably get closer to the outside thing, but more importantly: he will actually be the thing, not just pretend to be.
Aiming for strength, being a safe man (physically and emotionally), being able to protect, being strong, being connected to yourself and your power (that´s real magnetism), using your sexual energy in an expanding way (aliveness and magnetism), nourishing and caring for your body (health- this will be visible and palpable).
I can tell you from my own experience, that looks are secondary, and the way a man carries himself, the way he “mans”, is much more important and convincing. On the contrary, I am repelled by very good looking men because they almost always seem like they define themselves only through their looks and they lack the confidence and zest of a rougher man.
If you step into your masculine power- the way I define it at least- you are in the top 1% anyways, so why get caught up in the cheap standards this world promotes?
